LEVEL: JUNIOR, MIDDLE
LOCATION: CLUJ-NAPOCA/ORADEA/REMOTE
The QA Engineer is responsible to ensure that the software released by Nordlogic meets the quality standards and expectations (both internal and/or customer specific). They report to the QA Team Lead.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Follow the formal QA processes in the company and explore ways to enhance them. You will take ownership of these processes, primarily at the product or team level.
Designing test plans, scenarios, test automation scripts and executing them.
Analyzing test results and reporting to the team.
Create bug reports.
Provide estimates on task completion.
Coordinate with DevOps to ensure required test platforms are available and make sure you possess a thorough knowledge of these platforms.
Take part in project meetings and QA meetings.
SKILLS THAT YOU MUST HAVE:
Good working knowledge of SDLC/STLC and QA methodologies and a passion for questioning and improving them
Clear understanding and use of standard testing techniques
(examples: exploratory testing, user acceptance testing, regression testing, stress testing) and a drive to find the right combination
Knowledge or experience with automation tools:
Selenium WebDriver, WebDriverIO, Visual Studio Code, Jenkins, Git
Knowledge or experience of TypeScript language and Cucumber framework.

Experience with test management software
(example: Jira Xray, TestRail, Azure Test Plan)
experience with task tracking software
(example: Jira, Azure Boards)
Experience with web and native mobile applications testing
Interpersonal and communication skills
Good team working and critical thinking skill
NICE TO HAVE:
Knowledge of performance testing
(example: JMeter, k6.io)
Knowledge or experience of mobile testing automation tools
(example: Appium)
Knowledge of security testing
(example: ZAP)
